The math dance study and a cup of coffee

I've been wanting to blog post for a while but, I've been on this study for my Math & Arts class, which had to do with mathematics on dance and although a very stressful and time consuming experience, I really enjoyed it.
Here's some of the pictures I've used :

These particular pictures I've used on the part of the project that was named "Symmetry and Dance". It's been hard for me to get enough information on this study due to the lack of official reference material on Internet and the total lack of books available but I finally finished it last week so now I can devote myself to my exams.

Oh and today we enjoyed ourselves -me and Mike- watching the Yip Man movie and the 8th and 9th episode of House season 1since I really enjoy the series and I had missed the first episodes. But the Yip Man was pretty good. Oh, did I mention we had hot drinks and cookies from the coffeeway? I took the gingerbread-cinnamon cappuccino (favourite) and Mike had a simple hot chocolate. Here's some pictures :

I've been also reading the Silmarillion from J.R.R.Tolkien and I've loving it so far. But I'll let you know what I think as soon as I finish it.
Kisses :)

Saturday summary

Today it was a wonderful day in Corfu, so me and Mike went on a stroll for coffee from the Coffeeway and photographs.
He took the simple milk hot chocolate (right) and I took the delightful cream & cookies cappuccino (left), which was great but not as great as my favourite gingerbread & cinnammon cappuccino. We also got the Droste Holland pastilles chocolates in milk/white.

I also kind of liked what I wore today so I decided to do my first outfit of the day and face of the day. Any opinions are pretty welcome :)

On my face :
  • Seventeen powder
  • Glamour blush
  • Bourjois eyeshadow
  • Glamour eyeshadow
  • Niveau mascara
  • Maybelline lipstick

What I'm wearing :
  • Zara oversized sweater
  • Terranova jean
  • Eastapack bag
  • Small bracellets one in red and the other in brown (gift)
  • Cool way boots

We also took some pictures at the beautiful old fortress :

Last but not least we decided to make ragu (an Italian recipe for spaghetti) and I photographed the whole process
The ingredients

A glass of wine in the bookstore

We went to Plus today. Me and Mike. The wine was delightfull.

The Plus is a bookstore that is also a cafe and a bar. The atmoshere was great in there. All vintage and old looking. The wine was homebrew, delicious and really inexcensive. The service was amazing and all in all I really enjoyed the calm, relaxing atmosphere of that place, small and cozy. Perfect for winter.
I'll be in touch :)

Yeah it's me in Haagen Dazs. Again.I know,it's becoming classic.

So, me and my boyfriend went over to the Haagen Dazs once more longing for something nice and sweet, and as we were both kind of still reeling from the previous illness, we decided that nothing would be better than some hot chocolate. Mike (my boyfriend, that is) had the Layered Hot Chocolate, which is actually one ball of ice cream ( Belgian Chocolate) and a crunchy cookie called Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookie and a pot full of hot chocolate in which another ball of Belgian Chocolate ice cream so he could pour it slowly in the glass. I, on the other hand, got the Coconut Truffle Hot Chocolate with a ball of coconut truffle ice cream and another of Belgian Chocolate. They are as delicious as they sound and appear.

We also went out with the girls tonight and I had the best mojito ever but due to lack of photos I won't talk about that any further.( Just imagime... lime, mint, havana vodka and chunks of sugar in each sip) Heavenly!!!

Last but not least I've been  obsessed with rose gold this Juicy Couture watch. But it is an investment I'm not sure if I'm ready for.
Isn't it lovely? Be seeing you!!!

Crazy shopper

I went on another shopping spree yesterday (dang you sales !!!) and ended up getting more than I should :

  • As you can see I actually bought the Clinique 3 steps series. They were products which I've been wanting for a lot time and they were on 25 % discount soo I decided to get them. Here are the       anti-blemished solutions cleansing foam and the anti-blemished solutions clarifying lotion and the dramatically different gel
  • So I was heading for just the clinique products (which were all together 53 euros) but then the saleswomen at sephora told me that if I spent 60 euros overall I would get the beauty insider sephora card and I thought that was interesting so I got myself a hand creme (nourishing hand creme from the sephora) which I was lacking.
  • And last but not least I got the Bourjoios eyeshadow which was 70 % discount (only 3.99 euros ) what a steal :)

But that was not over since the lady in the clinique rank gave a little gift : an estee lauder pallette and two perfume samples from estee lauder I liked the pleasures one but the bloom pleasures one was GREAT

Disclaimer : The perfume samples and the estee lauder pallet were given to me, everything else was purchased by myself with my own money. All of my thoughts are my honest opinions.

A review on the sephora's blockbuster

I'm sooo excited to give my humble opinion on a make-up item I've been wanting so long and so badly but here it is :
The total number of the eye shadows is 98, the lip-colours (including lip-glosses and creme lipsticks) 70, the cream eyeliners are 6, the eyeliners are 3, the lip liners are 2, there are 4 applicators and last but not least 3 blushes.

To start with the thing that always impressed me about that palette is the variety of colours that you get for only 38 euros. It's also great the fact that someone can travel and get all the make-up that they might need. As  it comes to eye shadows not only has someone almost every eyeshadow needed but the quality is also great and all of the colours are wearable.

The lip products were also an excitement, once more not only due to the variety of colours, but also because of the quality of the lip-glosses and the pigmentation of them. As good as the eye shadows.

The mascara was average. It did leave my lashes full and more intense but it also clumped them a bit. Average. The creme eye-liners were tricky. Although I loved the colours, the pigmentation and how long it stayed put I disliked the fact that it smudged a lot. Especially the black one.

The blushes were really exciting as well. I usually don't like intense blushes at all (especially the brown ones) but these ones had a great pigmentation and were amazing one skin. I'm soooo into the bronzer!!! What I didn't liked though were the applicators. I think that only worth talking about is the eye-liner brush , average.

All in all in my opinion the sephora blockbuster is a good purchase especially if you like to constantly experiment with colours (like me) and don't stick with a colour for long.
I'll be in touch :)
