Freshmade Korean Watermelon Soothing mask by Skinfood

I can definitely confirm that April has been the most prolific in finding beauty products that I love. I have been trying a lot of new products which I can finally confirm me liking or not liking them so expect a pretty extensive kind of Hits and Misses for the month of April next week.

On other news, this weekend is the Comicdon weekend in Athens and I've pretty much signed up to all of the comic and screenwriting workshops that were available. Now even though I'm not that kind of person that will stress about how my skin looks when I have somewhere to go (at least not for something like a workshop) but my skin has been really acting up lately and I'm pretty sure hormones are to blame. This Skinfood watermelon soothing wash off mask has been a huge help with my acne as well as giving my skin some much-needed moisture and calming it down in general. Here is what I think about it in detail:

Pros: This mask is kind of cooling to the touch (especially if you keep it in the fridge which I recommend) which is really pleasant in the warm night that will be upon us soon. It has kind of a fast time within it acts (10-15 minutes). It smells absolutely delicious, it's very see-through so it doesn't really look like much when u have it on (great for nights when you are not alone but need to mask) but the main advantage of this mask is how great it works on my skin. Right in 10 minutes, you can see redness and acne coming down and your skin feels super moisturized and calm. Also, it's lovely if your skin has been exposed to the sun which is lately the case as the sun is a constant thing here is Greece the last few weeks (months). I also like the ingredient list here is the CosDNA analysis.
Cons: I guess the small size is the only drawback of this mask, but honestly the price isn't too much so I think the quantity is pretty fair for the price. Another thing is that this mask is really runny so you need some attention when you put it on, but once it's on it doesn't slide off or anything.
What it promises: It says very little at the back of the box: A wash-off mask with a cool moisturizing gel that clings to upset skin and immediately hydrates and soothes it.

What I noticed: It does all it says and more. I think this mask would work well on sensitive skin as well. The effects also last. Your acne is going to be kept at bay and your skin will continue to look soothes, moisturized and calm the next day.
How to use it: Clean your face and after toner apply a thick layer of this mask on your face. Let it sit on your face for about 10-15 minutes and then take it off. You can take it off with water but my preferred method it always using a muslin cloth.
Is it for you?: I think this mask would work great for all kinds of skin, from problematic acne skin to dry and sensitive ones.
Texture, Color, Scent: The texture is that of a really watery gel, the color is really light pink and the scent is divine. It smells sweet like a watermelon bubblegum.
Price, Quantity, Packaging: You can find it on amazon for 12.98$, on the Skinfood site for 13$, on the beautytap site for 12.28$ and Ulta for 13$. I purchased it from my local Sephora since it was on sale.
Would I repurchase?: I would definitely repurchase I think this is one of the best masks I've used lately.
Rating: 7/10.
