Rosegold makeup look

Remember the Rosegold trend a few years ago? Well, it was the first time I discovered the shade of rose gold and I felt instantly in love. I'm not sure what I love about it so much, but ever since I tried it as a color for makeup I just haven't stopped wearing it. So much so, that it strikes me as a really peculiar thing that I have never uploaded a makeup look with rose gold as the main color since I wear it more often than anything else. Today's post comes to correct that mistake and give you a small insight into how I do my rosegold makeup.

  • I always like starting with my eyes and while you could easily mix a gold eyeshadow with a pink on the crease, I have found the easiest, fastest way is to apply my favorite rose gold stick eyeshadow all over my lid. If I feel like adding a little bit of depth I go in with a little bit of a warm bronzer on the outer V and the crease and blend them together.
  • Curling my eyelashes and applying mascara has been a big thing lately for me since I do it almost every day. I finish the eyes by underlining my waterline with a beige eyeliner and applying some bronze shimmery pencil eyeshadow on the tear ducts of my eyes.
  • And if you feel like you can't stand these under-eye dark circles you can use a concealer (maybe with a corrector underneath). I let it sit while applying my BB cream or foundation (or maybe none of the two, if I feel like my skin looks ok that day) and then I blend everything together.
  • I brush through my eyebrows with a colored eyebrow mascara and move on to cheeks. I apply a simple light pink blush and highlight my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose with a rose gold highlighter.
  • I finish everything with my favorite rose gold lipstick (yes, there is such a shade in lipstick and it looks amazing on person!).

Here are all of the products I used:

  1. Picachu Mini Cover Cushion SPF 50+ PA+++ by Tony Molly in 01
  2. Kiko Long Lasting Stick 8-hour no-transfer eyeshadow in 21
  3. Jumbo Eye Pencil by Nyx in 611 or yogurt
  4. Fine Art Eye Pencil by Kiko in 01
  5. Eyebrow Fibers colored mascara by kiko in 04
  6. Klairs Creamy & Natural Fit Concealer
  7. Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle by Mac
  8. Max Factor blush in 10 or Nude Mauve
  9. Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara by Kiko in black
  10. Clinique Butter Shine lipstick in pink-a-boo or 37

I believe this is one of the fastest, easiest makeup looks I've ever done and I love how it looks!
Have you ever tried rose gold as a makeup color? If not, would you ever try it?

On a side note, this week is cruelty-free week on Wishtrend and they are having promotional sales on a lot of their cruelty-free brands (some of my favorites being Klairs and ByWishtrend) and you can combine some of my favorite skincare (like this serum or this moisturizer), up to 40% discounts and use the code WISH0505 for an extra 5% off!
